'Interruptions' Awarded 'Best in Show' |
At the 2009 Federation of Canadian Artists exhibition entitled 'Summer Sensations', Carol Munro's encaustic artwork 'Interruptions' was named 'Best in Show'.
The Penticton Herald reported on the show and on those who received special mentions.

At the 2008 Federation of Candian Artists Juried Exhibition 'Art Visions' held in Kelowna, BC, Carol received The Founding Patron's Gold Award ( an award amounting to $2008 cash) for her painting “The Road From Here To There”.
"The Central Okanagan Chapter of The Fedration of Canadian Artists proudly brings 'Art Visions 2008' to Kelowna. This juried show of 71 original pictures has been assembled from 350 submissions received from six provinces and territories across Canada and one state in the US. This geographical distribution of submissions, coupled with the stiff competition for acceptance into the show, has resulted in a National Show of Quality Art. It provides a unique opportunity in Kelowna to view a broad spectrum of art work created by present-day Canadian artists.
